dc.description.abstract Low-speed tunnel tests on a model of the HP 115 aircraft have provided a complete set of lateral derivatives for a range of frequency parameters. Over a range appropriate to full scale flight, the effects of frequency parameter are small, but for very high values there is a marked reduction in the derivatives ... Some information is included on the derivatives ... and there is evidence that the virtual inertias are about the same wind-on and wind-off. The Paper also describes some recent improvements in technique. en_US
